A remarkable presence for FNX-INNOV at the AQTR Congress
Our partnership with the 57th AQTR Congress, which took place from March 27 to 29 at the Quebec City Convention Centre, gave FNX-INNOV the opportunity to position itself and raise its profile among the major players in the transportation and sustainable mobility industry in Quebec.
The AQTR Congress is an annual event and the largest gathering of the transportation industry and players in various industrial sectors, such as environment, rail, hydrogen, smart mobility, new mobility, electrification and much more. This year, more than 500 participants gathered under the theme ” Change is in the air : new realities in transportation ” to exchange and promote Quebec’s expertise in transportation.
During the 3 days of the congress, our delegation of more than 15 colleagues proudly represented FNX-INNOV by attending the numerous conferences, each one more interesting than the last, and by hosting our booth in the exhibitors’ lounge. There was no shortage of networking opportunities with our very appealing booth that was sure to catch the attention of attendees. Our colleagues Mathieu Prud’homme and Élisabeth Laurinaitis also generated a lot of interest with their conference: “The liaison officer and the use of technological tools to effectively communicate issues in the field”. They were asked several questions in order to explain in more detail this new, more “human” way of doing things on the worksites.
During Tuesday’s luncheon, our vice-president, Sébastien Legault-Lavallée, spoke to a packed room of about 500 people for a much appreciated opening speech. He then gave way to a very interesting speech by Minister Geneviève Guilbault who presented her vision and strategic plan for the coming years in transportation and sustainable mobility. In particular, she confirmed record investments of more than $7.4 billion for the period 2023-2025 by the Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable du Québec (MTMD) to ensure the maintenance and improvement of road, maritime, rail and airport transportation networks.
Thank you to all the representatives who contributed to make our community shine and create stronger links with other transportation industry enthusiasts.
