FNX-INNOV, a major partner in the “Une pose pour le rose” fundraiser
Une pose pour le rose is a fundraising event that supports the Canadian Cancer Society, specifically for breast cancer. Photographers from all over Quebec unite to take portraits for this cause. FNX-INNOV is proud to be associated with this event for a second year.
Indeed, our colleague Julie Rousseau from the Sherbrooke office and her husband François Tinker, professional photographer, organized a photography and fundraising event on June 12th. In exchange for donations of $20 per participant, the photographer took more than 75 portraits of women who were registered for the event. Additional donations for hair and makeup services were also collected through the participation of other volunteer professionals. In total, over $5,800 were raised at the event.
FNX-INNOV contributed to this fundraiser with a donation of $2500 in support of those affected by breast cancer. We also participated by offering a draw grand prize to a participant of the event. Jennifer Tremblay won a fishing trip for 4 people at the Pavillon Beauregard in Mont-Laurier, in the beautiful Laurentians. The prize was drawn at random among women fighting breast cancer.
“A nice break for my family and me!“ Jennifer Tremblay, grand prize winner
In four years, the event has grown considerably among Quebec photographers, and has raised over one million dollars for the Canadian Cancer Society.
Congratulations to our colleague Julie Rousseau and photographer François Tinker who made this fundraiser a great success!
