On March 11, our Vice-President Environment, Marc-André Desjardins, ing. Ph.D., received a distinction awarded by Réseau Environnement for his commitment to the water treatment sector. Involved for many years with this organization, which brings together Quebec experts from all sectors of the environment, it is a well-deserved recognition for Mr. Desjardins and a source of pride for the firm.

Réseau Environnement is a group of specialists working in various technical and scientific fields whose mission is to “promote good practices and innovation in the environment and act as a catalyst for innovative solutions for a green economy”. Each year, the group awards its “Distinctions” at a ceremony where members from various fields of expertise are honoured. For the 2020 edition, the Network has rewarded the work of ten of its members who have distinguished themselves in their respective fields.

Specializing in the treatment of water and organic matter, Mr. Desjardins has been working in consulting engineering for nearly 35 years. Author of a large number of technical and scientific publications and recipient of several awards and distinctions, Mr. Desjardins enjoys an enviable reputation as a process expert. An active contributor to several associations, including Réseau Environnement, he was also a member of the École Polytechnique Civil Engineering Advisory Council from 2003 to 2018 and currently sits on the Steering Committee of the CentrEau associated with Université Laval, as well as on the Board of Directors of CentrEau.

Congratulations for this great recognition by your community of practice. Your outreach is a source of pride and inspiration for the entire firm!
