Quebec City colleagues take part in EWBQ softball tournament

The 3rd edition of the Engineers Without Borders Quebec (EWBQ) softball tournament was held on June 15. Thanks to the generosity of the 18 participating teams and 184 players, over $21,000 was raised to support Engineers Without Borders’ international cooperation projects.

For the 3rd edition of the EWBQ softball tournament, a tournament was organized in Quebec City in addition to the one in Montreal, much to the delight of our colleagues in the region, who jumped at the chance to form a team.

Of the ten players on the FNX-INNOV team, only two had ever played softball. Many had never even touched a stick or known the rules. Yet, thanks to exemplary determination, our colleagues played very well and even won a match.

We’re already looking forward to the next edition of this unifying fundraiser for our industry!
